The Delaware Lottery reported revenue numbers for March. Poker rake was $44,636 last month. That was up 26 percent over February. Some of that increase can be attributed to the longer month. On a per diem, poker was up 15 percent.

Delaware’s regulated online poker network appears to have benefited from the interstate liquidity sharing agreement with Nevada. That deal went into effect on March 24 and gave Delaware players access to cash games, sit and gos, and tournaments offered by WSOP.com in Nevada. For the first time since its November 2013 launch, Delaware online poker players have access to action 24 hours per day.

Casino games saw a dip

Casino game revenue declined 5 percent in March compared to February, even with the longer month. The news is not all bad. The handle from blackjack and roulette was up 20 percent. The handle from video poker and slots nearly doubled.

The hold on table games was 1.4 percent in March. That is historically low for Delaware and less than half the percentage from February.

The hold on slots and video poker was 3.8 percent. This was down from 4.3 percent in February and nearly half of the 7.2 percent hold recorded in January.

New signups at a many months high

There were 306 new accounts created by Delaware players in March. That is the best number posted for new registrations since 308 players created accounts in November.

Delaware Park, Dover Downs, and Harrington Raceway are the three racinos that provide regulated online gaming in Delaware. The games are regulated by the Delaware Lottery. 888 provides the online poker and casino software.
